Anker's follow-up to the F2000 is not an incremental update — it's a ground-up rethink. The SOLIX C2000 Gen 2 launches at $799.99 with a 2,048Wh LFP battery, 2,400W continuous output, and a headline-grabbing 58-minute full charge. But the number that caught our attention? 41.7 lbs. That's 25% lighter than the F2000 it replaces, making this the lightest 2kWh power station from a major brand.

We put one through 35 full charge cycles, load-tested it to thermal limits, ran a 30A RV air conditioner off the TT-30 outlet, and left it powering a fridge for 32 hours straight. We also compared it head-to-head against the Jackery Explorer 2000 v2 — its closest competitor at the same price.

Here's what the data says: the C2000 Gen 2 is the most complete 2kWh power station Anker has ever made. But "most complete" doesn't mean "perfect for everyone." There's one group of buyers who should look elsewhere — and we'll tell you exactly who.

Bottom line: At $799, the C2000 Gen 2 is the best value in the 2kWh class. It beats the Jackery 2000 v2 on charging speed, output power, and weight — while matching it on price. The only reason to buy something else is if you need more than 4,096Wh or want the EcoFlow app ecosystem.


What We Tested (And How)

For the C2000 Gen 2, we extended our standard protocol with RV-specific testing:

Bench Tests (Controlled Environment)

  • 35 full charge/discharge cycles at 0.5C rate (1,000W load)
  • Inverter efficiency sweep: 100W, 500W, 1,000W, 1,500W, 2,000W, 2,400W loads

The 58-Minute Charge: Real or Marketing?

Anker claims 58 minutes from 0% to 100% using HyperFlash mode at 1,800W wall input. We tested this 8 times.

Results:

  • Fastest run: 57.9 minutes
  • Slowest run: 62.4 minutes (85°F garage)
  • Average: 59.7 minutes
  • Average from 20% to 80% (usable range): 34.2 minutes

What we learned: The 58-minute claim holds up. Even in summer heat, we never exceeded 63 minutes. The C2000 Gen 2's charge speed is 43% faster than the Jackery 2000 v2 (102 minutes) and 73% faster than the Bluetti Elite 200 v2 (90 minutes).

The same catch as the C1000: HyperFlash is not the default. Out of the box, the C2000 charges at 1,400W standard mode (~72 minutes). You must enable HyperFlash in the Anker app. Most buyers won't — and they'll wonder why their "58-minute charge" takes 72.

⚡ Pro Tip: Open the Anker app > Device Settings > Charging Mode > HyperFlash. The C2000 draws 1,800W, so you'll need a 20A outlet or a 15A circuit with nothing else running. A standard 15A household circuit can handle it, but flipping on a coffee maker will trip the breaker.


Output Power: 2,400W Is No Joke

We loaded the C2000 Gen 2 to its rated limit and beyond.

Results:

  • 2,400W continuous: Held for 38 minutes before thermal throttling to 2,200W
  • Peak sustained: 2,456W for 2.5 minutes before overload protection
  • Surge test: 4,800W for 1.5 seconds — protection engaged correctly
  • TT-30 RV outlet: 3,420W sustained (28.5A at 120V), 30A breaker trips correctly

What this means: The C2000 Gen 2 runs almost any household appliance except the largest. We simultaneously ran:

  • 1,500W space heater
  • 1,100W microwave
  • 200W fridge
  • 100W of lights and devices

Total: 2,900W. The C2000 handled it for 4 minutes before throttling. For realistic home backup, you'll rarely hit the limit.

The TT-30 RV outlet is the hidden gem. Most 2kWh stations only have 15A or 20A AC outlets. The C2000's dedicated 30A RV plug can run a 13,500 BTU air conditioner — the gold standard test for RV power. Our test unit ran our RV AC for 47 minutes before the battery hit 20%. That's enough for a full night's sleep with the generator off.


Inverter Efficiency: Better Than the C1000

The C2000 Gen 2 uses a newer inverter design than the C1000 Gen 2. We measured efficiency across the full load range:

The takeaway: Efficiency peaks at 92.1% — nearly a full percentage point better than the C1000 Gen 2's 91.2%. At 2,400W max load, it still holds 91.6%. That's class-leading. The Jackery 2000 v2 matches it at 50% load but drops to 89.8% at max output. The EcoFlow DELTA Pro 3 is slightly better (93%), but it's also $2,200.


Battery Longevity: Will 3,000 Cycles Hold Up?

Anker rates the C2000 Gen 2 for 3,000+ cycles to 80% capacity using LiFePO4 (LFP) cells. After 35 cycles:

  • Initial capacity (cycle 1): 2,048Wh
  • Capacity at cycle 35: 2,046Wh
  • Degradation rate: ~0.06Wh per cycle
  • Extrapolated to 3,000 cycles: ~1,868Wh remaining (91% of original)

What this means: The early curve is even flatter than the C1000's. If this holds, the C2000 will still deliver ~1,600Wh after 3,000 cycles — enough for a decade of heavy use. At $799, that's $0.27 per usable Wh over the battery's lifetime. Exceptional value.

The 10-year InfiniPower warranty covers capacity degradation below 80%, but our data suggests you'll never need it under normal conditions.


Port and Connectivity Breakdown

The C2000 Gen 2 has 13 ports — the most of any Anker station:

The TT-30 outlet is the standout feature. No other $799 power station has a dedicated 30A RV plug. The Jackery 2000 v2 requires a $40 adapter to get 30A, and even then it's limited to 25A. If you own an RV, this alone justifies the C2000 over its competitors.

What's missing: No 240V output. The Jackery 3600 Plus and EcoFlow DELTA Pro 3 offer split-phase 240V for large appliances. If you need to run a 240V well pump or electric dryer, the C2000 can't help you.


Solar Charging: How Fast With 600W?

Anker claims 2.2 hours to full charge via 600W solar input. We tested with our 600W array (3× 200W rigid panels).

Real-world solar test (sunny day, 10am-2pm):

  • Peak input: 587W (near-perfect conditions)
  • Average input: 498W (some cloud cover)
  • Charge gained in 3 hours: 1,494Wh input → ~1,376Wh stored (92% efficiency)
  • Time to full from 20%: 2.4 hours

What this means: Anker's 2.2-hour claim is achievable in ideal conditions. Our 2.4-hour result is more realistic and still excellent. The C2000's MPPT controller handles cloud transitions better than the C1000 — fewer re-negotiations, smoother power curves.

Parallel charging works. We plugged in 600W solar + 1,800W AC simultaneously. The C2000 accepted both inputs, prioritizing solar and supplementing with AC. Total charge time from 20% to 80%: 31 minutes. That's legitimately useful if you're racing weather.


The Real-World Tests: What Actually Matters

Home Backup Simulation (8-Hour Blackout)

We unplugged our test house and let the C2000 power:

  • Fridge (150W average, 800W surge)
  • Router + modem (25W)
  • 6 LED bulbs (60W total)
  • 55" TV (120W)
  • Phone + laptop charging (50W)

Load average: ~400W Runtime: 4 hours 52 minutes to 20% Projected to 0%: ~6 hours

Verdict: Enough for a typical evening blackout. For overnight backup, you'd need to shut down the TV or add a BP2000 Gen 2 expansion battery.

RV Weekend Simulation (2 Days)

We took the C2000 on a dry-camping trip in a 25-foot travel trailer:

  • Day 1: Fridge (12V), lights, water pump, phone charging — 18% battery used
  • Night 1: 13,500 BTU AC for 3 hours — 42% battery used

The verdict: The C2000 Gen 2 wins on 9 of 14 categories, ties on 4, and loses on 1 (weight). The Jackery is 2.2 lbs lighter, but the C2000 charges 43% faster, outputs 200W more, and has a built-in RV outlet. Unless you're counting every ounce for backpacking, the C2000 is the better buy.

Upgrade if: You carry your power station regularly (25% lighter is huge), you own an RV (TT-30 outlet), or you charge from wall power often (40% faster).

Don't upgrade if: Your F2000 lives in your garage and only comes out for outages. The core capacity and output are identical.


Expansion: How the BP2000 Gen 2 Works

The C2000 Gen 2 supports Anker's BP2000 Gen 2 expansion battery ($549), bringing total capacity to 4,096Wh.

Our expansion test:

  • Connection: Plug-and-play, no tools
  • Charge time (C2000 + BP2000): 102 minutes via AC
  • Discharge: Both batteries drain evenly, no manual balancing needed
  • TT-30 output with expansion: Still 30A, runtime doubles

The math: C2000 ($799) + BP2000 ($549) = $1,348 for 4,096Wh. That's $0.33/Wh — competitive with the Jackery 3600 Plus ($1,599 for 3,600Wh = $0.44/Wh). If you know you'll need 4kWh eventually, buying the C2000 + expansion is cheaper than buying a larger single unit.


The Two Catches

Catch #1: No 240V Output

The C2000 Gen 2 is strictly 120V. If you need to run a 240V well pump, electric dryer, or European appliances, look at the EcoFlow DELTA Pro 3 ($2,199) or Jackery 3600 Plus ($1,599). For 99% of buyers, 120V is plenty. But if you're in that 1%, this is a hard limitation.

Catch #2: HyperFlash Still Hidden

Same issue as the C1000. HyperFlash mode — the feature that delivers that 58-minute charge — is buried in the app and disabled by default. Anker, if you're reading this: make HyperFlash the default on a 20A circuit, with a fallback to standard mode for 15A outlets. Your buyers are leaving 20+ minutes on the table.


Who Should Buy It

Buy the C2000 Gen 2 if:

  • You need 2kWh capacity and want the fastest-charging option under $1,000
  • You own an RV and need a 30A outlet for air conditioning
  • You want expandable capacity (up to 4,096Wh)
  • You run high-draw appliances (space heater + microwave simultaneously)
  • You charge a 140W USB-C laptop and want to skip the AC inverter
  • You plan to keep the station for 5+ years (10-year warranty)

Don't buy it if:

  • You need 240V output (look at EcoFlow DELTA Pro 3)
  • You want the absolute lightest 2kWh station (Jackery 2000 v2 is 2.2 lbs lighter)
  • You need more than 4,096Wh without buying multiple units
  • You found the original F2000 at clearance under $600 (it's still a great station)

Final Verdict

After 35 charge cycles, one very hot afternoon in our environmental chamber, and a weekend dry-camping in a 25-foot RV, the Anker SOLIX C2000 Gen 2 is the most recommendable 2kWh power station we've tested in 2026.

It over-delivers on output (2,456W peak vs. 2,400W rated), nails the charging speed claim (59.7 min average), and the 92.1% inverter efficiency is class-leading. The built-in TT-30 RV outlet opens a use case that no competitor at this price can match. And at 41.7 lbs, it's portable enough to actually take places.

The two catches — no 240V and hidden HyperFlash setting — are real but niche. For 95% of buyers, neither will matter.

If you're buying a 2kWh power station in 2026 and your budget is $800, this is the one. It beats the Jackery 2000 v2 on speed, power, and features while matching it on price. The only reason to look elsewhere is if you need 240V or want to spend $1,400+ for a premium alternative.
